CAESARSTONE’S RECYCLED COLLECTION COMBINES BEAUTY AND ECO-FRIENDLINESS

CaesarStone, the original quartz surface & countertops manufacturer, is proud to offer six different colors that contain recycled materials. CaesarStone’s Carbone, Marrone, Ruby Reflections, Quartz Reflections, Smoky Ash and Chocolate Truffle colors all have the distinction of being part of this impressive collection.

Ruby and Quartz Reflections have been two of CaesarStone’s colors for the past several years. The colors contain post-consumer recycled glass.

Carbone and Marrone colors both contain recycled CaesarStone material. These wondrous colors are created by taking remnants from fabricators after production and mixing in new CaesarStone material. These two shades are only available in New York, the Northwest or by special order.

The two new additions in 2009 to the Recycled Collection are Chocolate Truffle and Smoky Ash. They are both comprised of post-consumer recycled glass.

L.A. Times Home of the Week: $11 Million Laguna Beach Oceanfront Home Features Caesartone Quartz Countertops & a Ferrari Too!

Are you shopping the market for an oceanfront home? If so, 31091 S. Coast Highway in Laguna Beach is available. You'll find four bedrooms and five bathrooms in 4,300 square feet on a 6,251-square-foot lot. The asking price: $10.95 million.

This luxurious Laguna Beach home was featured in Home of the Week L.A. Times Home Section. Homeowners Rosanne and Dennis Kline bought the home in 2004 and decided that the ‘80s glass-block look wasn’t their style, so they began a three-year $2.5 million remodel project and put it back on the market.

The home is nestled between Aliso Creek Beach and the Montage Resort & Spa and features many customized additions such as a custom stone steps, Neoporte stainless-steel double doors with glass inserts, hotel-inspired master bathroom, and newly added 30-by-40 foot billiards and bar entertainment area with custom Caesarstone quartz countertop surfaces.

Among some of the luxurious touches, zebra wood cabinets, Venetian plaster, Spanish marble tiles, Murano Italian black glass chandelier, spiral staircases, large ocean-view deck, and private beach.

"We wanted it to be warm and contemporary, not too urban, but clean and functional -- a sense of luxury without being stiff or uptight," said Rosanne Kline, who is also the listing agent.

On the lower level, the Klines removed what was the fifth bedroom and sixth bathroom and opened up a 30-by-40-foot space to create a combination billiards-bar-entertainment area. Designed by Euro Kitchens, the bar brags of SieMatic (German) cabinetry, Caesarstone (natural quartz) countertops, a dual refrigerator-freezer and a Miele mini-bar dishwasher.

So where does the Ferrari come in? As the house has been on the market since last year, one day a professional athlete was touring the property and inquired whether Dennis Kline's 2003 bright-red Ferrari 360 Modena was part of the package. Although it wasn't in the plan, they readily agreed, but the athlete passed and bought another property. From that point forward, however, the Ferrari, with 6,500 original miles, has been used to jump-start interest in the property.
